Job Details

Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.

Prepare and review complex journal entries, ensuring proper classification and adherence to accounting principles and company policies.

Perform balance sheet reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze financial data and provide insights for business performance evaluation.

Support the preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

Assist in the implementation and improvement of financial controls, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP and internal guidelines.

Take ownership of intercompany accounting, including reconciliations and settlement processes.

Lead and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and fostering a collaborative team environment.

Participate in audits, liaising with external auditors and providing necessary documentation and explanations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.
4-5+ years of experience in financial statements auditing, financial accounting, or similar experience
Experience in optimizing or re-designing existing processes resulting from business needs
Familiarity with US GAAP and experience with financial reporting standards.
Analytical experience, including experience in Excel
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Prior experience in mentoring or supervising junior accounting staff is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and meet deadlines.
