Spray Chill Technician

Spray Chill Production Technician JOB SUMMARY Verify and enforce standard operating procedures for water on carcasses and temperatures in the hot boxes. Documentation detail is extremely important. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES Complete rounds in the hot box area to monitor to ensure carcasses are sprayed in a timely manner and receive adequate spray. Document and validate carcass temperatures. Adjust spray chill recipes as required by shrink results/water usage Monitor SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures). Review records to ensure accuracy and be held accountable to their accuracy SKILLS Problem solving skills Quality and work standards Team player Oral and written skills Computer skills Comfortable working in a cold environment Ability to stand for long periods of time EOE/VETS/DISABILITY
