About the Facility:

This 72-bed facility provides comprehensive rehabilitation services to patients recovering from various conditions. They offer a collaborative environment where you'll work alongside a team of professionals dedicated to patient success.

Schedule:

Day Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (No Weekends.)

This role offers a predictable schedule with no weekend rotation, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for adult patients.

Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.

Implement evidence-based therapy techniques to improve communication and swallowing abilities.

Document treatment progress and collaborate with the healthcare team.

Educate patients, families, and caregivers on communication strategies.

Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with documentation standards.

Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).

Current Georgia state licensure to practice Speech-Language Pathology.

Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting preferred.

Strong clinical skills in adult dysphagia and aphasia.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.

Proficient in documentation and record-keeping practices.
