Job Title: Specialist, Program Management - Data Analytics Job Code: 11065 Job Location: Salt Lake City, UT Job Schedule: 9/80, 1st shift Job Description: L3Harris is seeking a Spec Program Manager for the Next Generation Jammer Low Band (NGJ-LB) Program. NGJ-LB is a Department of the Navy ACAT 1 program, critical to our national defense. NGJ-LB has broad and high visibility within the Department of Defense as well as among allies and Industry Partners. NGJ-LB is managed through Integrated Program Teams (IPTs) responsible to deliver critical sub-systems. Relocation to the Salt Lake City UT area is a must. Relocation reimbursement will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Essential Functions: Manage the development, test and build of the IPT sub-systems with a deep understanding of business analytics
Create program performance reports by mining databases with tools such as Excel and SQL
Effectively manage program risks
Responsible for cost and schedule performance, planning and forecasting
Monitor and report status on cost, schedule and deliveries using Earned Value Management System (EVMS) methodology and tools
Interface with Engineering, Operations, Purchasing/Subcontracts Management, Finance, Contracts and Quality to track program performance
Identify continuous improvement and cost reduction opportunities
Provide concise reports to management on status, potential issues, risks, and solution recommendations
Provide guidance, coaching and training to other employees across the Company within area of expertise
Strong organization and planning skills
Strong written and oral communication skills
Expert in data analytic tools
Active Secret, or higher, US Security clearance, or confident you can obtain a clearance Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior program management experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior program management experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior program management experience. Preferred Additional Skills: Bachelor's degree and demonstrated technical aptitude
15+ years' experience with a strong understanding of DoD program management methodologies (includes developing resource loaded IMS, executing IBR, managing complex risks, strong development program management skills)
10 years professional experience as a Program or Project Manager leading program execution and proposal preparation, including technical description, statement of work, and cost/schedule estimation for both sole-source and competitive proposals
Experience leading teams in a matrixed organization
Proficient using the advanced features of the entire MS Office Suite: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
Proficient with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) methodology and tools to monitor and report status on program execution, Cobra preferred
Master's degree in engineering or STEM related field
Experience leading large development programs
Background in Electronic Attack / Warfare (as a requirements lead, PM, BD, or operator)
Experience with NAVAIR, N98, PMA 234 or PMA 265
