Your Team As a UX Designer Specialist, Program Management in the Employee Technology Experience team, you will partner with product owners, tech leads, enterprise communications, and business partners to improve the technology experience for our workforce. You will measure and optimize experiences by exploring many different approaches to solve end-users' problems, conducting in-person user tests to observe behavior, for example. In addition to applied experience, you will bring excellent problem solving, communication and teamwork skills, along with agile ways of working, strong business insight, an inclusive leadership attitude and a continuous learning focus to all that you do. Here is What You Can Expect on a Typical Day Infuses broad UX perspective to influence the design of technology solutions to deliver a more impactful end-user experience. Conduct user interviews, develop discussion guides, facilitate user working sessions, synthesis and insights. Analyze data to develop insights and practical recommendations for technology experience improvements. Work under the direction of leadership to contribute ideas to help resolve employee technology pain points. Support development of personas, journey mapping, prototyping, wireframing, and user workflows. Lead a matrixed network of enterprise change champions to drive adoption and awareness of technology enhancements. Bring a deep understanding of relevant and emerging technologies, give technical direction to team members and embed learning and innovation in the day-to-day. Understand program goals and contribute insights for decision making, prioritization, and business outcomes. Work on complex problems in which analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors. Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Report out on key program details to a disparate set of stakeholders and managing how those details impact tangential programs, initiatives, or projects. Manage relationships with Business Partners, Product Owners, Tech Leads, Enterprise Communications, 3rd-party Vendors and other Stakeholders in order to establish and maintain alignment on Program Objectives, Approach and Progress Lead in crafting and delivering key messages/communications to various audiences, from Program Stakeholders to the entire workforce. Help manage cross team execution of the program deliverables / outcomes with minimal guidance. The Skills & Expertise You Bring Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience required Ability to lead independently with minimal guidance and effectively leverage diverse ideas, experiences, thoughts and perspectives to the benefit of the organization Experience with agile development methodologies and Test-Driven Development (TDD) Knowledge of business concepts, tools and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business Ability to learn new skills and knowledge on an on-going basis through self-initiative and tackling challenges Excellent problem solving, communication and teamwork skills Applied experience with several of the following: Wireframing and Prototyping - ability to translate concepts into visual representations, using tools such as Adobe; adept at creating interactive prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas. UX Design - understanding of user experience principles, and the capacity to iterate rapidly based on feedback; collaborate with cross functional teams, turning ideas into tangible, user centric products. Proven understanding of a business line or functional area Problem Solving - deep knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving interpersonal, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations. Effective Communications - Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors. Decision Making and Critical Thinking - Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment. Accuracy and Attention to Detail - Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision. Producing Results - Understanding of the criticality of getting things done in spite of current circumstances and the ability to apply assigned resources and leverage back-channel resources (individuals or teams) to achieve or exceed planned outcomes. The salary range for this role is from $83,400.00 to $124,100.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
