Instructs students in reading and/or language arts, social studies, mathematics, science, health, physical education, art, music, and other assigned areas of curriculum, utilizing the course of study adopted by the Board of Education. The level of instruction will be based upon each pupil's reasonable achievement expectancy. Facilitates the pupil' s development in citizenship, basic communication skills and other general elements of the course of study specified in state law, district policies and administrative regulations and procedures of the district.
