Space Analyst

The Garrett Group is in search of a Space Analyst to support critical functions at the Joint Center for Electromagnetic Readiness (JCER) under an upcoming contract. This role involves assessing service deployment certification events and mandatory training crucial for Combatant Commands (CCMDs) deployments. Evaluations are conducted according to established standards such as the Universal Joint Tasks (UJTs) and the EMOE Characterization Framework. Qualifications: Required Experience: Understanding of current United States Space Force (USSF) capabilities, including communication/tactical data links and tactics, with a focus on identifying vulnerabilities in the presence of electromagnetic spectrum operations (EMSO) threats. Developing comprehensive mission analyses and resource integration to support JCER's mission. A minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience in space-based capabilities. Desired Experience: Analyzing threat data and managing the dissemination of foreign intelligence information. Ability to assess emerging EMSO threats and provide actionable recommendations based on evaluation outcomes. PMP certification is advantageous for candidates without extensive military leadership experience. A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience in space-based capabilities. Responsibilities: Conducting research at tactical, operational, and strategic levels to understand the impact of existing and emerging EMSO threats on joint operations. Performing studies, research, and reporting to recommend instrumentation and evaluation resources necessary for risk reduction and evaluation events. Collaborating with partner agencies involved in data collection, reduction, or joint EMSO operations aligned with JCER evaluations.
