We are looking for a Sourcing Specialist for Global Development who will support the planning and execution of strategic sourcing initiatives. This person will develop sourcing specifications, requirements and related scope of work, conducting data gathering, support spend analytics, assist in delivering measurable cost savings, and monitor savings against contract. This role will support evaluations through the development of RFQs, RFIs and RFPs. The Sourcing Specialist actively participates in supplier selection and provides data and recommendations to ensure informed selection decisions. Supporting the supplier information management process while supporting the sourcing/category manager on the creation and negotiation of contracts. The Specialist will support all vendor sourcing activities which includes preparing QBR data and measuring supplier performance.

A typical day might include:

  • Support sourcing and category managers to perform supply market analyses and use sourcing tools to identify suppliers with capabilities which meet Regenerons business needs.
  • Supports the RFx process, supports contract negotiations, and ensures contract deliverables are realized, e.g., SLAs, Savings, etc.
  • Monitors and ensures compliance with pricing agreements, internal policies, and procedures
  • Works within iCertis to draft, collect requirements, and manage workflow for Scopes of Work (SOW) covering commercial terms
  • Tracks the expiry of the contract's term and alerts sourcing manager and stakeholder(s) for existing contracts
  • Supports the category sourcing team on Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) initiatives which normally includes, but is not limited to, coordinating supplier governance meetings, creating/distributing scorecards, working with partners to review performance metrics, reporting SRM meeting action items, and tracking resolutions
  • Provides support to partners as a liaison between Regeneron and the supplier to assist with external audits, Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARS), Inspections, etc.
  • Reviews and approves POs in the Oracle workflow for category spend under management and within authorized approval limits. Adds completed iCertis numbers to PO as applicable before issuance to Supplier

This role might be for you if you have:

  • Bachelors degree plus 5+ or more years of relevant, progressive experience within procurement, to include up to 2 years or more experience directly in sourcing role or supporting sourcing activities OR Master's plus 3+ years or more of relevant, progressive experience within procurement, to include up to 1 year experience directly in a sourcing role.
  • Work experience within a biopharmaceutical company preferred, but not required.
  • Working knowledge of sourcing and procurement, planning, supplier interface and negotiations, systems applications such as Zycus, Oracle, iCertis (Contracts Management), spend analytic software, MS PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
