Are you graduating from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program in December 2024 or May 2025? Would you like to earn $30/hour working part-time and gaining hands-on? Campus Placements include: Midtown Hospital, Deaconess Gateway Hospital, The Womens Hospital, Deaconess Henderson Hospital. Available clinical areas may include:/GYN, General, and Cardiac/Echo Sonography Summary of the Role The Student Sonographer requires the direct supervision of the Sonography preceptor working with the Student Sonographer. The intent of the Student Sonographer role is to create a learning environment for the student to experience an introduction to highly complex patient care within a sonography care delivery system, promoting role development of the Student Sonographer. The Student Sonographer is responsible for completing tasks under the direct supervision of the RDMS/RDCS for the delivery of task-based sonography care by meeting the comfort, hygiene and safety needs of patients in accordance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Demonstration of growth and development of knowledge and skills to provide care to all patients is required. Required Certifications/Licenses Must be enrolled in the final year of an accredited school for medical or cardiac sonography.
