Job Overview:
MUST HAVE 1 YEAR EXPERIENCE IN A HOSPITAL SETTING . We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Sonographer for per diem in the Orlando area. As a Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing ultrasound examinations on patients and producing high-quality diagnostic images. This is a flexible position with competitive pay and benefits.

Responsibilities:
- Perform ultrasound examinations on patients using specialized equipment
- Prepare patients for procedures and explain the process to them
- Position patients correctly to obtain the best possible images
- Adjust equipment settings to optimize image quality
- Analyze images and provide preliminary findings to physicians
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
- Current certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or equivalent
- Proficient in performing abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, vascular, and musculoskeletal ultrasound exams
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to ultrasound imaging
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately interpret images
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
