A day in the life
Dive Deep troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving problems across various technologies to perform root cause analysis
Create and update engineering or customer-facing documentation
Develop runbooks, or build tools, used by customers or other Support Team members
Identify customer pain points, raising concerns with engineering, to implement support improvement opportunities
Completing projects to improve API solutions reliability
About the team
Solutions Reliability Engineering SRE provides proactive quality focused responsibilities for our data products and to ensure customer confidence in our SP-API (Selling Partner API) developer experience.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of software development, or 2+ years of technical support experience
- Experience scripting in modern program languages
- Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems
- Knowledge of web services, distributed systems, and web application development
- Knowledge of networking protocols such as HTTP, DNS and TCP/IP
- Experience working with REST API based services
- Experience with REST web services, XML, JSON
- Experience using SQL-based relational databases
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience scripting in one or more language (e.g. Bash, Python, Perl, Ruby)
- Experience using Git
- Knowledge of IT Support processes and SLA management
- Knowledge of OpenAPI specification and tools
- Automating DevOps tasks including CI/CD, infrastructure management, software testing, and production monitoring
