Job description: Solar Engineer - Design a Brighter Future (On-Site or Fully Remote) We are seeking a passionate Solar Engineer to join our growing team and play a key role in shaping the future of renewable energy. We design, procure, and construct innovative electrical power solutions for data centers, renewable energy projects, and microgrids.
In this role, you will leverage your expertise in solar energy to design and engineer solar photovoltaic (PV) systems for our clients. This is a unique opportunity to work with a team of industry leaders on cutting-edge projects that are transforming the power grid.

•  Design and engineer solar PV systems using industry-standard software like PVsyst
•  Develop electrical drawings and single-line diagrams for solar projects
•  Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other team members to ensure successful project execution
•  Support project proposals and requests for quotations (RFQs)
•  Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in solar technology
•  Potential for travel to project sites (limited for senior engineers) Qualifications: The Ideal Candidate:

•  Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
•  5+ years of experience in Solar Engineering (for senior role; less experience considered for on-site Chicago position)
•  Proven experience in PV system design using software like PVsyst
•  Proficiency in electrical design principles and software (AutoCAD, Revit a plus)
•  Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
•  Strong work ethic, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
