Software Tester IV

Job Description

AECOM is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Software Quality Assurance Tester in our Raleigh, NC office, with the option for remote. The successful applicant will play an integral role on multiple software development teams and projects ensuring the quality of internal and client-facing applications. Our R&D team produces a variety of applications, typically with geospatial capabilities, that run on the desktop, web, AWS, and a variety of client production systems. AECOM is committed to leveraging AI in the tools and applications it is and will be constructing. In addition to validating software, a critical part of this position is analyzing and improving the software development lifecycle to reduce the introduction of defects into the team's work.

The employee in this position will:

Conduct manual and automated testing on a variety of desktop, web, and mobile solutions

Define, build, and maintain manual and automated test scenarios that validate these solutions on an ongoing basis

Monitor test results, identify issues, and work with the team to resolve

Participate in all phases of the SDLC to ensure solutions fulfill the highest possible quality, performance, usability, and supportability criteria

Assist in the development, integration, maintenance, and documentation of test automation tools and strategies that will add value to testing cycles
