Job Description:

Serve as a Software Systems Engineer

Collaborate with various teams to translate operational requirements into software requirements

Participate in planning, coordinating, scheduling, and directing technical support activities applicable to
Software development
Integration of software tools/capabilities

Participate in the development and execution of software and system test strategies

Review/assess developmental contractor software code to ensure compliance with government-provided standards

Participate in government oversight of contractor software development activities, to include:
As a supporting team member in agile development paradigm activities (e.g., scrums, sprint retrospectives)
Generating recommendations to the government APM regarding development, planning, and testing

Provide integrated, multi-disciplinary solution recommendations for resolution of technical problems

Qualifications:
BS Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Science
5+ years of Software or Systems engineering experience
2+ years of cyber, Information Technogy, or C4ISR systems experience
Experience with containers and container orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, docker-compose, Kubernetes)
Experience with virtualized environments (VMs, VMWare)
Familiarity with CI/CD best practices and tools (e.g., Git, Gitlab, Nexus, Jenkins)
Familiarity with Application Programming Interfaces (APIs)
Experience with Linux OS
Familiarity with the RMF process and security assessment technologies (preferred)
Experience working in a DevOps environment (preferred)
Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Extreme Programming, Scaled Agile Framework)
Experience developing Web services software (preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary:
15+ years of Software Development experience and a Masters of Science - $200,000-$250,000
10+ years of Software Development experience and a Bachelors of Science - $150,000-$180,000

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $160,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
