Job Description: Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented full-time Software Systems Engineer (DevOps) to support our customer at the Air Force Research Laboratory located at Wright-Patterson AFB. The Principal Systems Engineer will apply broad theoretical and practical knowledge of system engineering expertise for the defense and intelligence community. The Principal Systems Engineer will be a part of a dynamic team, potentially working multiple programs for multiple defense and intelligence community end-customers. What You'll Be Doing: Support/provide updates to the Chaser program code for implementation of new features and bug fixes as needed/required.
Support integration of Keycloak security products for programmatic access into Chaser
Support Database administration/documentation and migrations.
Tracking updates, loading tasks, database maintenance, version updates, and scripting
Update the DataManager program, the conduit of data into and out of Chaser for deployment into the Insight application on multiple networks.
Support the development team in implementation decisions, providing a positive and intuitive end user experience. What Required Skills You'll Bring: Must have an active TS with SCI eligibility
BA/BS degree in relevant field and a minimum of 10-15 Years' relevant experience required supporting the DoD and IC, MS preferred.
Demonstrated recent experience supporting the MAD-E program, and Chaser.
Experience with the following Programming Languages: Java, JavaScript (Node, React, HTML, CSS) Python, SQL
Experience with the following databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, ElasticSearch
Advanced skills and experience with Linux, Windows
Experienced with Docker
Knowledgeable of the following DoD standards: CoT, DIS, NITG, STANAG 4607, STANAG 4676
Experienced supporting Agile software development, proficient using Gitlab and RESTful API
Experience with program related sensors and ATR data analysis
Ability to work efficiently on teams and also individually with minimal supervision.
Strong analytical, communication, and attention to detail skills What Desired Skills You'll Bring: Demonstrated experience in multiple phenomenology sensor data collection, processing, exploitation algorithms, test and evaluation, systems integration, application development, and field demonstration
Demonstrated Experience in modern SW development and computing architectures
Demonstrated experience in sensor data processing & visualization, modeling & simulation, virtualization/containerization
Experience with Linux OS, cloud native, Kubernetes ecosystem, databases, Kafka, etc.
Experience with the following types of sensors (EO, RF) and INT types (GEOINT, MOVINT, SIGINT) for data processing/integration.
