Client is seeking a Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) Systems Engineer with a strong GNC algorithm development background, to support Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD). The tasks are to design missile guidance and fire control / battle management for system performance improvement.
Designs, develops, implements, verifies and tests algorithms to perform guidance, navigation and control of aircraft, spacecraft, launch vehicles and upper stages during powered and coast phases of flight, earth orbit, interplanetary cruise and orbital insertion, as well as during staging events. Basic Qualifications:
Must have experience with controls feedback and regulation, statistical processes, and strong analytical skills of large data sets.
Desired Skills:
Experience with the C and Fortran programming languages.
Midcourse guidance law, Kalman filtering, numerical methods, and 6-DOF simulation experience is a significant plus.
Client-3 missile experience.
Familiarity with Unix/Linux and shell scripting is desired.
