Software Engineer
Location: Boulder/Longmont, CO.
Required Clearance: Secret U.S. Citizenship Mandatory: Due to our US federal government contract, candidates for this position are required to be a US Citizen and will be subject to a background investigation. Job Responsibilities: Plans, conducts, and coordinates software development activities. Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs software within the OPIR Ground Solution. Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle. Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. Ensures software standards are met. Software engineer will work with the DevSecOps/CI/CD pipeline, C , Qt framework (GUI), pub/sub messaging, PostgreSQL, Linux environments, Ansible Scripting, GIT/Jenkins (preferable), Java, Agile Methodologies and the full software development cycle. Demonstrate knowledge and/or experience with Kubernetes, distributed systems, machine learning and multi-threaded applications.
