What you'll do To succeed in this role, you must be passionate about UX and be a self-starter who is constantly challenging themselves and their colleagues to grow. The day-to-day The work will encompass the whole user experience process from envisioning future concepts and defining user flows, to detailed interaction designs and prototypes, user testing and final implementation. You will crystallize the problem space and guide the team to research, ideate and produce delightful experiences, outcomes and solutions. What you'll need Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an engineering field with at least 6 years technical experience.
Experience designing, developing, documenting, testing, and debugging user interface designs.
Advanced Knowledge in at least one UI framework.
Knowledge of UX (user experience) principles.
Great interpersonal and communications skills, while establishing and maintaining effective work relationships with team members
Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, flexible environment, and take the initiative to learn new tools and concepts quickly.
Excellent communication skills, in both spoken and written English
Experience deploying software to DoD classified systems & networks
Active TS clearance What will help you on the job Familiarity with Linux.
Knowledge of networking fundamentals.
Experience with SQL commands and queries.
Experience using virtual containers for development and deployment.
Experience with version control systems VCS (GIT, SVN etc.)
Python application development experience.
Salary range $137,300.00 - $238,700.00 / annually At Viasat, we consider many factors when it comes to compensation, including the scope of the position as well as your background and experience.
