We are looking for a well-rounded software development engineer for our client who has a proven track record of solving challenging technical problems and creating great products. The ideal candidate will have exceptional design and coding skills along with strong technical acumen.
What you'll be doing
- Build high-performance, highly available, and reliable software.
- Develop complex components/modules/scripts using .NET technologies.
- Design, build, and maintain both desktop and web-based applications.
- Contribute to debugging/troubleshooting the complete stack of services.
- Partner with Business Analysts on user-requested applications or projects.
- Perform code walk-through of software components.
- Document software components sufficiently for ongoing support and enhancement.
- Assist in scheduling, estimating work effort and cost for project completion.
- Make recommendations for system changes based on project requests.
- Engage actively in application feature design and strategy.
- Review code and evangelize standards/best practices.
- Other duties as assigned.
Who you are
- Educated. BA in related field (computer science, math, physics, MIS, engineering, etc.)
- Experienced. Min. 6 years relevant software design and development experience
- Technology. C , .NET Core, .NET Windows Platform Stack, WPF, MVC, SSRS, Power BI, JavaScript/TypeScript
- Skill: Strong database experience including design and complex query writing skills for SQL Server databases
- Communication. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written.
- Organized. Proven process improvement and organizational skills
