Software Development Engineer 5

Summary:

In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise to lead efforts that bring alignment on

standards, processes, and technologies used to secure the cloud and on-prem infrastructure platforms and tools used in the enterprise. You will identify systemic areas of opportunity, define plans to close gaps, and gain buy-in from teams across company in the development of security baselines, controls, and control procedures for implementation.

Responsibilities:

Define and lead cross-organizational alignment of technical baselines, controls, processes, and technologies for increasing the security of cloud and on-prem infrastructure and converging on hardware and software platforms and tools in support of the infrastructure.

Identify, define, and drive implementation of security baselines, controls, control procedures, and associated remediation steps.

Research, improve, design, optimize and drive implementation of built-in enforcement capabilities, thereby automating security development operations and relate automation tooling and processes.

Identify and support driving closure of critical security gaps on cloud and onprem infrastructure, including platforms, tools, and processes.

Serve as infrastructure security and security operations Subject Matter Expert within

Participate in detailed design, code reviews, bug/issue triage with engineering teams, and support well informed security decisions in harmony with business and engineering goals.

Knowledge, Experience and Skills:

5+ years of experience in a technical program/product management, software engineering, or similar role.

3+ years of hand on experience in cloud and on-prem infrastructure, platforms, and security operations.

3+ years of general cybersecurity experience.

1+ year of cloud and on-prem infrastructure and security operations experience with

Security configuration and tooling to operate at scale.

Preferred:

2+ years of experience producing concise and quality technical documentation.

1+ years of experience with Client's security products and solutions

Prior experience with deploying, testing, and troubleshooting security products and solutions for the cloud.

Experience with hands on cloud infrastructure development and operations

Compensation:

The pay rate range above is the base hourly pay range that Aditi Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including but not limited to, a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, competencies, competencies, experience, location and end client requirements).
