Spirent Federal is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to develop software for Spirent Federal's legacy and modernized GPS simulation solutions. This individual will be an integral member of the engineering team and work closely with systems engineers and developers. Be part of a highly successful, influential, and exciting team. Job Responsibilities

• Develop software in Windows, Linux and embedded real time operating system to further Spirent Federal's legacy and modernized GPS products.

• Support and participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration, and formal testing.

• Develop software test plans, procedures, and other relevant technical documentation.

• Participate in design and peer reviews.

• Identify, track and repair defects.

• Assist customers with software installation and use.

• Operate GPS signal simulators, receivers, and other laboratory test equipment as part of software development, performance evaluation, and troubleshooting.

• Assist in maintaining a document management workflow. Desired Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5 years+ software development experience or equivalent.

• Experience with C , C development on Windows and Linux systems.

• UI development experience with XAML/WPF/WINUI with .NET.

• Experience with MVVM architecture and Test-Driven Development methodologies.

• Experience with MFC is preferred. Job location

• Primarily at the Spirent Federal office in Pleasant Grove, UT. Remote work is possible as assignments allow. Schedule

• 40 hours/week, flexible hours.

• Candidates must be US citizens and hold a DoD Secret Security Clearance and maintain it at all times during employment. Annualized Total Compensation Range: Spirent Federal applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience at or in line with the minimum requirements.
