Overview Software Developer - Avionics Cyber Range (ACR) - Mid-Level - TGED Be the Difference Astrion offers comprehensive services that boost preparedness, optimize performance, and ensure success across various domains, from Cyber to Digital, Mission and Systems, servicing our nation's Civilian, Defense and Space communities. We support customers with Centers of Excellence in Washington DC, Huntsville, AL and Burlington, MA with an additional 36 locations across the U.S. Astrion has an exciting opportunity for an ACR Software Developer supporting the Air Force Division. The ACR Developer will be an integral part of the Lab as a Service (LaaS) development team supporting the Avionics Cyber Range (ACR) at Eglin Air Force Base, FL. Lab as a Service provides automated and distributed cybersecurity test capabilities to penetration testers within the 48 th Cyberspace Test Squadron. The ACR Developer will be responsible for contributing to LaaS development in order to support all test capabilities including Test Resource Management, Test Planning, Vulnerability Identification, Threat Development, Attack Deployment, and Analysis. LOCATION: Eglin AFB, FL JOB STATUS: Full Time TRAVEL: 10% REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field Current Secret Clearance with the Ability to Obtain Top Secret Clearance At least 3 years of development experience DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related technical field 7+ Years of UX/UI Development Experience 3+ years of Python Development experience Experience developing with HTML, Javascript, Java React, or other web-based UI languages Experience developing web-based Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) Experience interfacing front-end UI applications with back-end databases Experience with RHEL, Kali, and other Linux flavors Experience with containerization, writing Docker files, and using Docker/Podman Experience with Kubernetes and YAML Experience with DevOps using GitLab Experience with GoLang and Go packages IAT Level III certification (Security +, CASP+, CISSP, or related certification) RESPONSIBILITIES Develop application containers for Lab as a Service (LaaS) Develop front end applications which enable interactive processes for management of test resources, test planning, vulnerability identification and threat development, attack development and deployment, and analysis Collaborate with systems engineers and program managers to identify requirements Lead user groups to gather feedback and improve LaaS capabilities Own and maintain LaaS developments and continuously develop/implement upgrades What We Offer Competitive salaries Continuing education assistance Professional development allotment Multiple healthcare benefits packages 401K with employer matching Paid time off (PTO) along with a federally recognized holiday schedule Who We Are At Astrion, we innovate, elevate, and shape the world of tomorrow.
