Software Commissioning Engineer

The Software Commissioning Engineer (SCE) is primarily responsible for leading and executing software test plans in support of Dematic software solutions at customer sites. Testing results and progress to be coordinated and communicated with the Dematic project team and our customer. Additionally, the SCE must be able to identify operating, engineering or software configuration problems and work to implement a solution. What we offer: This is What You Will do in This Role: Lead the execution of the site software validation test plan Generate and update test case management repository Capture, summarize and communicate testing results and progress with team members and our customer Participate in system acceptance testing with our customer Provide customer startup support Utilize SQL queries to support solution analysis Being able to read and interpret software solution logs, identifying system issues Utilize remote desktop connection/virtual machines (VM) Train end users with Dematic application workflows Perform pre-site software quality assurance testing aligned to software development activities. What We are Looking For: Associates in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field Security Plus Certification, or able to obtain one. If one is needed, Dematic will take care of all training expenses and allow time for training and exam once hired. 301 V Certification, or able to obtain one. US Citizen Excellent written and verbal communication skills Good technical skills and ability to learn new applications quickly. Basic understanding of relational databases and being able to write SQL Queries Strong problem-solving skills; self-starter; detail-oriented; multitasking Strong desire to learn and grow in the position Excellent time management skills Passion to meet deadlines Ability to travel and work at customer job sites Prefer candidates who reside within 1 hour drive of Harrisburg, PA.
