Short description of the Position : The candidate must have a wide breadth of experience in technologies, needing minimal assistance in maintaining and supporting technologies such as Java, DB2, SQL performance tuning, MQ series, Websphere application server, Websphere Process Server, RAD, and J2EE, as well as, experience working on AIX platforms. The candidate selected must also have exceptional skills in the areas of technical analysis and design to be able to develop, provide maintenance and troubleshoot in this complex architecture. The candidate must be experienced in multi-tier architectural design and implementations.
Selected Candidate:
- Development of tax processing system components
- Maintenance of existing processing systems
- Defect monitoring and resolution
- Coordination with development team on development activities and integration testing
- Creating system documentation
Requested Qualifications :
- 84 months experience with J2EEtechnologies including EJB, JDBC, JSP and XML.
- 84 months experience with Java programming in an IBM development environment using IDE of IBM's Rational Application Developer (RAD)that are deployed to Websphere Application Server (WAS).
- 84 months of IBM DB2 experience working with DB2 databases and experience with XML schemas (definition, querying and automated generation).
- 60 months experience in performance tuning applications interacting with databases.
- 60 months of experience in IBM MQSeries
- 60 months experience with an organization which includes technical design, development, maintenance and end user support of complex systems
Software Architect
