What you will be doing: Research, develop, and execute the most effective and efficient logistics, supply chain, lifecycle sustainment, and acquisition strategies and courses of action to achieve timely and cost-efficient equipment support to US SOF supported partner forces, especially in the area of combat munitions management. Develop and research, acquisition management system documentation, to include supporting Statements of Work (SOW), Performance Work Statements (PWS), System Acquisition Management Plans (SAMP), Acquisition Strategies (AS), Acquisition Program Baselines (APB), Acquisition Decision Memorandums (ADM), spend plans, Congressional Briefings and responses to Congressional Requests for Information, and Program Objective Memorandum (POM) planning documents. Act as a logistics, supply chain, sustainment, and acquisition specialist for weapons, ammunition, electronic warfare equipment, vehicles, and soldier support items in support of partner nation special operation forces. Collect and analyze metrics and requirements from supported organizations. Support/conduct portions of market research. Keep program information current and organize data to submit to management for decision making. Prepare reports and briefings on program status, policies and procedures, in support of program milestones. Analyze effectiveness and efficiency of program; develop recommendations to improve program operations. Answer data calls and inquiries on program policies and procedures. Participate in requirements development process in support of Senior Managers and Government counterparts. Monitor programs to ensure compliance with policies and procedures. Assist in managing program cost, schedule, performance, and risks in accordance with policies and procedures; formulate proposed mitigations as necessary. Coordinate program information with internal and external stakeholders. Interpret regulations and directives to determine impact on programs. Research ways to eliminate program bottlenecks and barriers to production; support government counterparts in development of solutions to program issues. Oversee the allocation of resources based on program requirement. Draft fiscal year spend plans to meet OSD goals. Apply funding rules associated with the obligation of multiple types of appropriations. What you will need to have: Security clearance required: TS with SCI Eligibility One of the following education/experience combinations: Masters degree in business or related field with 10 years of experience in DoD logistics and munitions management including 2 years of security cooperation experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience OR, Bachelors degree in business or related field with 12 years of experience Complete DAWIA Practitioner (formerly Level II) non-resident course prerequisites in the Program Management field Working knowledge of the Defense Acquisition System as directed by DoD Instruction 5000.02, "Operation of the Defense Acquisition System" Working knowledge of the Defense Acquisition Framework process Munitions management experience at the Combatant Command level highly desired Security Cooperation certification in Security Management highly desired Knowledge of SOF-unique acquisition processes highly desired Benefits: Apogee offers two medical plans, a high deductible health plan with a HRA and a traditional POS plan with co-pays, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, PTO, paid holidays, parental, military and jury duty paid leaves.
