SOF Analyst / Plans Technical Writer Minimum Qualifications Summary Certification & Education Bachelor's degree required from an accredited U.S. University Master's Degree Preferred Active SECRET Clearance Experience Required 10 years of experience developing, researching, compiling, organizing, and writing military publications within the last 20 years 10 years of experience in Fleet operations and/or SOF operations within the last 20 years Experience working with Microsoft Office products, especially SharePoint portal management. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills Job Objective Support, research, develop, edit, maintain, and incorporate comments into Naval Special Warfare (NSW) Navy Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures publications (NTTPs) as well as manage N51 SharePoint portal pages for doctrine and plans information. Work also entails assisting in the development and writing of other NSW maritime doctrine publications and associated documents. Responsibilities Collaborate with commands at all echelons to ensure documents communicate processes and information clearly, concisely, and accurately. In performance of this effort, the Contractor shall effectively collaborate with commands/organizations at all levels to ensure documents communicate processes and information clearly, concisely and accurately. The Contractor shall also demonstrate the ability to communicate processes and information clearly, concisely and accurately. Perform weekly maintenance and updates to N51 portal to ensure accuracy of plans and doctrine information. Support, research, develop, edit, maintain, and incorporate comments into Naval Special Warfare (NSW) Navy Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures publications (NTTPs) as determined by the N51 doctrine master plan. 4.3.4.1 Conduct research across multiple websites and classified and unclassified systems. Communicate frequently with subject matter experts to receive timely doctrine publication inputs. Organize meetings and VTCs with community of interest on the assigned subject matter. Attend training events, conferences, VTCs, etc., as required to fully develop an assigned doctrine publication. Author and format publications using a technical writing template (provided).
