Duties Plan, manage, and develop the Agency Substance Abuse Prevention Program (ASAP) preventative education, reduction, and urinalysis program. Conduct urinalysis for Soldiers, Cadets and DA Civilians and management of the Cadet Summer Training drug testing mission. Serve as the primary instructor and Installation Biochemical Testing Collection (IBCT) qualified to meet requirements to certify individuals as Unit Prevention leaders (UPL). Notify and is an advisor to local commanders regarding individuals identified positive for legal/illegal drug use during a random urinalysis testing event. Serve as the AFAP/AFTB Program Manager responsible for duties pertaining to financial management, program administration, accountability, program management, issue management, and coordination of AFTB/AFAP. Requirements Conditions of Employment Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed secret background investigation. This position requires that the employee occasionally travel away from the normal duty station up to 25% of the time. May be required to work other than normal duty hours, which may include overtime, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays. One year trial period may be required.
