SMT Machine Operator

Summary

The SMT Machine Operator collaborates directly with the team coordinator and department supervisor to ensure printed circuit boards are assembled to specification in a timely manner.

Duties

•  Perform machine set-up, clean-up, and surface mount machine operation according to standard operating procedures
•  Maintain quality documentation for set-up, machine operation, inspection results, and daily operations
•  Perform material activities required to maintain accurate control of all material staged in machine area
•  Perform minor maintenance as required to operate machines in an efficient manner
Required

•  High-level critical thinking, attention to detail, analysis, and oral and written communication skills
•  Demonstrated highly motivated strong leadership and teambuilding skills with self-motivation, problem solving abilities, team spirit and a "hands on" mentality.
•  Effectively manipulate extremely small and/or fragile components and tools.
•  Ability to use visual aids, complicated drawings to verify quality products.
•  Knowledge of common manufacturing processes and/or equipment operation Education and/or Experience
•  High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent
•  Ability to obtain J-STD and IPC certification within 90 days.
•  SMT Machine Operations experience
Preferred

•  IPC 610 CIS Certification
•  J-STD CIS Certification
Pay : $17-20/hr Depending on Skills & Experience
Shifts : Day, Swing, Weekend Compressed shifts available.
