SMT OperatorsSummaryThe SMT Machine Operator is a member of the Production team who builds high end Printed Circuit Board Assemblies for our customers.
You are responsible running the SMT line equipment to ensure high quality PCBAs are produced.
The Operator will be proficient in the operation of SMT equipment and knowledgeable about the process of building Printed Circuit Board Assemblies.
The Operator is responsible to: - Complete jobs following established procedures and guidelines
- Set up and operate Screen Printer, Solder Paste Inspection Machine, Pick and Place Machines and Reflow Ovens
- Read and interpret Process Documentation to ensure products are built properly
- Make adjustments to SMT programs as necessary to ensure properly placed components
- Perform machine Preventive Maintenance tasks on SMT line equipment in accordance with PM procedures
- Follow Electro-Static Discharge (ESD) procedures and maintain ESD controls
Knowledge and Skills - Demonstrated ability to operate SMT line equipment
- General knowledge of concepts and practices in the electronics manufacturing industry
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instruction
- Good problem solving skills
- Certification to IPC-A-610 is a plus
Basic Qualifications - High School diploma or GED
- 2 to 10 years of experience running SMT line equipment preferred
- Fuji SMT pick and place equipment experience preferred
