Liberty Cares With Compassion Liberty Senior Living is currently seeking an experienced: SUPPORTIVE CARE AIDE Full Time, Evenings Job Summary: Safeguards all residents rights. Treats all individuals with dignity and respect, maintaining positive attitude and pleasant tone of voice. Maintains confidentiality of resident and company-related information. Prioritizes residents needs and assists with the following tasks: Provides 1:1 monitoring of residents that require monitoring due ot behavioral challenges or socialization Answering call lights and assisting with needs if not care related Passing ice/fluids for hydration, replacing thickened liquids and ice in coolers Making beds, tidying room Bagging and labeling personal items Labeling and storing bed pans per facility protocol Providing companionship to residents as needed for emotional and supportive services Restocks supplies May assist with grooming, shaving, and brushing teeth as needed, if trained to do so. Assists staff in transporting residents to activities and carrying out scheduled activities. Assists with meal and snack as needed, including clean up. May assist with feeding after completing State approved feeding assistant course. Reports any resident concerns to charge nurse. Reports maintenance issues immediately to ensure safety of residents and staff. Maintains positive relationship with residents, families, co-workers, volunteers and facility representatives. Participates in regular staff training and in-service education as directed. Performs other duties as assigned. Job Requirements: High school diploma preferred. Prefer one-year experience working with older adults or a related field, not required Proven ability to read and write English sufficient to understand business correspondence and policy statements; ability to speak clearly with correct pronunciation and communicate effectively with staff, families, and residents. more information.
