Sleep Technologist Trainee

POSITION SUMMARY A sleep trainee develops competency in and performs basic sleep testing procedures and associated interventions. The sleep trainee works under direct supervision of a sleep technologist. Candidates hired into this position will train to become a Sleep Technologist. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS Licenses and Certifications Required Prefers applicants with current allied healthcare credential, examples include but are not limited to CNA, EMT, Paramedic, and Certified Athletic Trainer Must be willing to RPSGT credential within 6-12 months hire into the Sleep Center Trainee position (more information can be found at ) Basic Life Support (CPR) required within 30 days of hire High School Diploma or GED required Educational Requirements Preference given to applicants with allied health degree Experience Requirements None Special Skills or Training Requirements PC experience required POSITION SUMMARY A sleep trainee develops competency in and performs basic sleep testing procedures and associated interventions.
