Site Supervisor

Summary: The Supervisor provides leadership and is responsible for scheduling, coordinating, supervising, assisting in cost control and ensuring the safety, consistent and fair application of company and legal policies and procedures. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provides leadership that results in a safe work culture, is responsible and accountable for the safety of the teams under his direction and must understand and accept the importance of legal liability under OSHA and DOL. Participate in safety/incident investigations and reviews, and ensure timely responses, actions and corrections to any safety issues. Support job training for new hires and facilitating mentoring of team leaders. Recognize, address and resolve issues and /or problems among and/or between employees. Setting and maintaining work standards and outlining behavior expectations to ensure companywide morale and productivity. Responsible for following project plans and schedules and ensuring teams perform daily and weekly activities to meet organization's goals. Maintain facilities housekeeping and environmental regulations. Maintain material inventory and minimize plant cost. Responsible for supporting all safety and environmental testing and documentation. Inspect facilities and equipment to determine need and extent of service, equipment required, and type and number of operation and maintenance personnel needed. Qualifications: Combination of Education and Experience, or Solely Experience. Knowledge of inventory payroll and other ERP systems. Plus, Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, Web based Inventory and order processing systems. Displays willingness to make decisions; exhibits sound and accurate reasoning; and includes appropriate people in decision-making process. Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; looks for ways to improve and promote workplace, production and environment.
