Job Details

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Site Controller to join our team. As a Plant Controller, you will be responsible for managing financial operations and providing strategic guidance to ensure the success of our manufacturing plant. This is a permanent position that offers competitive compensation and benefits packages.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide financial reporting and analysis to support decision-making processes
  • Develop and maintain accurate forecasts and budgets for the plant
  • Oversee cost accounting processes, including Bill of Materials, Labor and Overhead accounting
  • Manage material management and inventory control processes
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Six Sigma and Lean Accounting methodologies
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to improve financial performance and operational efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with US GAAP and other accounting standards
  • Lead month-end closing processes and prepare financial statements
  • Implement and maintain effective audits control processes
  • Provide guidance and leadership to the plant finance team

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA, CMA or MBA preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management and cost accounting
  • Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience
  • Experience in process manufacturing, preferably in the heavy manufacturing industry (metals, plastics, extrusion)
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems; SAP preferred
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Experience with strategic planning and business analysis
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Accounting methodologies is a plus
