Part Time ( AFTERSCHOOL/SARA SMILE- Broadway Direct Client/Patient Care PT M-F Days/Evenings Job Summary The Site-Based Behavioral Health Technician is responsible for providing group and one-on-one services to autistic clients based on specific interventions that are derived from an individualized curriculum. The services are designed to continue the development of the social skills necessary to more fully interact with other children and are applied based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis. The Site-Based Behavior Health Technicians will follow the direction of the Lead Behavior Health Technician responsible for each group, but overall supervision will fall to the Assistant Supervisor. Job Duties/ Essential Functions Provide group and/or one to one support and intervention when required including behavior modification techniques and proactive strategies to continue the development of necessary social skill as outlined in the individualized curriculum and to stabilize the client when needed. Provide therapeutic supervision of clients during treatment activities. Work collaboratively with the Lead Behavior Health Technician, Assistant Supervisor/Supervisor, BCBA, Behavior Consultant, Autism Specialist to BCBA and Behavior Consultant, Program Manager, and all team members to ensure the service plan is meeting the client's needs and recommend other services as needed. Maintain daily logs of behavior progress and relay information to team members/supervisors, parents and other staff as required. Ensure all required documentation is completed legibly, professionally, and submitted in a timely manner according to established protocols and within regulatory guidelines. All other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications (Education, Training and Experiences) Must meet one of the following: Certification as a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA). Certification as a Board Certified Autism Technician (BCAT). Have a High School Diploma, or equivalent, and completed 40 hours of Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training (before seeing clients). Have at least 2 years of ABA experience and 40 hours of RBT training. Experience working with special needs population and/or experience working in a setting that utilizes Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Valid driver's license and First Aid/CPR certifications required. Must possess basic personal computer knowledge and skills. Must be at least 18 years of age.
