MEETING MINUTES 11/10/2023 Sewer Service Worker Examination (OPEN) APPLY: OPEN DATE: Friday, November 17, 2023 CLOSE DATE: Continuous SALARY: The prevailing salary for this position as established by Ordinance of the Council of the City of Cleveland is $21.07 - $24.55 per hour. EXAMINATION INFORMATION: WRITTEN EXAMINATION: The exam may be computerized or a traditional pencil and paper designed to test the objectives of the duties and minimum qualifications of the classification. Those who pass the written test will take the performance exam. (50% of score) PERFORMANCE EXAMINATION: Those who earn a score of 70 or better on the written exam will take a test to demonstrate basic mechanical skills and aptitude. Under immediate supervision and instruction, carries out tasks related to operation, maintenance, and repairs to sewers, manholes, and catch basins. Performs related duties as required. A High School Diploma or GED is required. Previous labor experience is preferred. A valid State of Ohio Driver's License is required. Must have the capability to operate a jackhammer.
