We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Permanent Service Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be a key player in maintaining and repairing our high-tech equipment and systems. This role requires a strong commitment to excellence, a thorough understanding of complex machinery, and the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems effectively. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a similar role, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe, efficient work environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform routine checks and maintenance on all equipment, identifying any potential issues and carrying out necessary repairs.
2. Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly and professionally to all service calls and inquiries.
3. Ensure accurate and efficient supply management, keeping track of inventory and ordering parts and supplies as needed.
4. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, maintaining a clean and safe work environment at all times.
5. Troubleshoot and repair complex machinery, using your technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to ensure minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
6. Document all service and repair work accurately, maintaining detailed records for future reference.
7. Collaborate with the wider team, sharing knowledge and expertise to ensure continuous improvement and high-quality service delivery.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role, ideally within a high-tech or industrial environment.
2. Proven customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues at all levels.
3. Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to identify and solve problems quickly and efficiently.
4. Strong supply management skills, with experience in inventory control and order processing.
5. Comprehensive knowledge of basic safety protocols, with a commitment to maintaining a safe, clean work environment.
6. Technical proficiency, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex machinery.
7. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
8. A relevant technical qualification or certification would be an advantage.
