Service Technician

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Proper selection and combination of foundations, pumps, and related equipment for specific jobs. Knowledge of tubing hook-ups to spools and reels, hydraulic hook-ups to reels and foundations. Ability to identify and communicate problems with reels, equipment, and spools. Operate and maintain all testing equipment associated with visual and dimensional inspection (Mic's). Complete all report forms for quality assurance shipping and receiving as required. Make minor repairs to equipment, hose fittings, counters, rollers, etc. Proper execution of all procedures that pertain to used tubing and waste fluid. Proper execution of all tube cutting procedures and use of cutting torch equipment. Qualified/trained for forklift ground guide, crane rigging, and qualified to operate forklift up to 70,000 lbs. Maintain a clean and organized work area and utilize safe work habits. Comply with all applicable NOV and HSE requirements. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred. Previous relevant work experience preferred. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to stand, walk, bend/stoop, push/pull, up to 12 hours daily. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
