Job Summary:
The Service Technician at Gator Chrysler Dodge Jeep in Melbourne, Florida is a full-time, commission only position that requires a high level of skill and technical expertise. As an individual contributor, the Service Technician will be responsible for performing a wide range of automotive repairs and maintenance services on various vehicles, including Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep models. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance services on Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep vehicles according to manufacturer guidelines and specifications
- Utilize various tools and equipment to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and technical issues
- Communicate with Advisors regarding any necessary repairs, including providing estimates and obtaining approval for work to be performed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, and ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained
- Keep accurate records of all work performed, including parts used and services rendered
- Attend training and development programs to stay up-to-date on new technologies and advancements in the automotive industry

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; automotive technical school or certification is strongly preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive technician
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and technical issues on various makes and models of vehicles
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
