Service Technician

Are you a skilled technician with a passion for CNC machines? We are seeking a dedicated Field Service Engineer to join our team and take on the responsibility of installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting CNC machines, with a focus on providing exceptional customer support. Key Responsibilities: Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair CNC machines, with a focus on Citizen and Miyano machines (experience with these machines is helpful).

Replace ball screws, motors, and cartridge spindles as needed. Utilize ladder and diagnostic functions on all machine controls. Provide phone support for troubleshooting, which may be daily and heavy at times.

Align and adjust tools, as well as repair spindle bearings. Provide time study estimates and perform machine demonstrations. Align and interface the bar feed unit with the machine.

Perform first part run-off to ensure machine acceptance. Travel to customer sites for repair and troubleshooting as required. Qualifications: 2-5 years of experience in CNC machine tooling.

Strong electrical, mechanical, and automation experience. Proficiency in geometry and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems. Ability to read ladder diagrams and control diagnostics.

Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time within eleven western states (after training period completion). Professional interaction with customers by phone and in person. Clean driving record and own vehicle for travel.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative.
