Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Install, inspect, and repair heavy-duty equipment and machinery, including hydraulic systems and pumps.
2. Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment failures and malfunctions, using diagnostic tools and equipment.
3. Perform preventive maintenance on equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
4. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed, using computerized maintenance management systems.
5. Coordinate with other team members and departments to ensure smooth operations and minimize downtime.
6. Adhere to all safety standards and protocols, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
7. Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to stay current with industry trends and advancements.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as a Service Technician, Mechanic, or similar role in the heavy equipment industry.
2. In-depth knowledge of hydraulic systems, pumps, and other heavy-duty equipment components.
3. Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment, and the ability to quickly and accurately diagnose and repair equipment issues.
4. Strong mechanical aptitude, with the ability to understand and follow technical manuals and schematics.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions under pressure.
6. Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
7. Commitment to safety, with knowledge of relevant safety standards and protocols.
8. Physical fitness, with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in physically demanding conditions.
9. High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field is an asset.
10. Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
11. Must have at least 2+ years of relevant experience in Hydraulic, Pump, Mechanic, Heavy Equipment.
