Shaffer Entertainment is hiring for a Service Technician. In this role you will primarily deliver, install and repair arcade and amusement equipment at various customer locations. A valid Non-CDL Driver's License and Motor Vehicle Record check are required. We are a family-owned businesses who specializes in supplying, developing and promoting on-location entertainment products and innovations, such as vending machines, arcade games, pool tables, dart boards, jukeboxes and cranes. We are looking for someone who is ambitious and willing to learn. We need a team player who is hands on.

Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshooting and repairing of games, pool tables, dart boards, vending machines and various other amusement related equipment
  • Drive, deliver and install equipment at Shaffer customers located throughout the Midwest via late-model 26' box truck with automatic transmission and liftgate.
  • Deliver and pickup equipment and parts transfers at other Shaffer offices.
  • Interacting with customers and the public

Position Requirements
  • Work hours are generally M-F 8:30am-5pm.
  • Willing to work some nights and weekends once trained.
  • Able to lift 50-75 lbs
  • Excellent Customer Service
  • Candidate must be able to meet all DOT requirements including medical card, and the ability to pass a background check including criminal and driving histories.
  • Experience driving box trucks preferred
  • Punctual with good attendance record
  • Previous delivery/install experience desired
  • Mechanical knowledge/technical background desired
  • Willing to work inside Bars/Taverns
  • 1 year previous box truck driving experience
  • 2 years of relevant Service Technician experience preferred
