Position Overview The Service Technician is responsible for traveling to our customers to service large industrial refrigeration and cooling systems to maintain optimal performance. Our services help reduce refrigerant leaks, recover the maximum amount of refrigerant possible and help maximum operating performance and energy efficiency of chiller systems. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Travel to customers to perform service or recovery of refrigerant to ensure optimal chiller and plant performance as coordinated by the Service Manager Combine technical experience with company training, address customer needs and issues including troubleshooting and maintenance of equipment. Follow company processes, procedures, safety standards and schedules with respect to daily activities. Provide reporting on job progress for added visibility. Strive to meet goals and Key Performance Indicators as outlined by the Service Manager Provide support as needed to account managers for growth of sales and service opportunities Demonstrates orientation toward excellent customer service by conducting daily activities, communications, and interactions in a cooperative, positive, and professional manner. Assist with depot shipping/receiving and delivery of product and equipment. Perform maintenance on company equipment to ensure performance when in use. Conducts refrigerant sampling/ testing. Required Skills and Experience: Hands-on mechanical/ technical experience Self-motivated and driven to succeed Excellent technical, communication, and organizational skills Experience with a proven track record in customer satisfaction Ability to travel domestically up to 50%, including overtime when needed Clean and valid driver's license, CDL Class B with HazMat Endorsement preferred Forklift Certification License 3 phase power / control wiring knowledge and troubleshooting Knowledge of Industrial Cooling and Refrigeration Systems HazMat experience a plus
