Staff Management SMX is currently sourcing to hire a Service Spares Support team member to assist the Service Manager at our client located in Indianapolis, IN.

Employment Types: Full Time, Direct Hire.

Pay Rate: $27.50 - $31.00 / hour

Duties:

Support the Service organization in the preparation of tender documentation for repair, renovation, retrofit and replacement offerings. Specify and scope the Company offering and build the best costing strategy. Support the spare parts process, information requests, quoting and order entry. Support all other service sales inquires. Ensure an efficient hand-over process to the execution team.

Position Requirements:

Main tasks & key responsibilities

  • Gather customer requirements from Sales team and/or Service Managers
  • Specify and scope the Company offering and build the best costing strategy
  • Obtain quotes (technical and commercial) from proper internal/external stakeholders
  • Package Company offering in a standard format (document), utilizing value-selling argumentation
  • Promote and transfer the offers to internal stakeholders (Sales and/or Service Managers)
  • Support orders management to ensure the orders schedule with the Sales is respected and communicate eventual deviations
  • Support with the documentation management (risk assessment):
  • Ensure that the financial aspects are clear to all parties
  • Support all stakeholders, such as administration, Field Service team, and finance understand and adhere to contractual obligations
  • Review existing and eventually develop new operational process flows
  • Resolve customer issues or difficulties within a designated timeframe by follow-up with internal departments as needed.
  • Perform other tasks as needed and as assigned by the Service Manager.

Qualifications

  • Business administration degree or equivalent background required
  • Previous experience in a sales/tendering role
  • Knowledge and experience of ERP systems, Business Central would be a plus
  • Use of Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Sales Force ability
  • Worked in a multicultural environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluent in English

The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $27.50 - $31.00 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law.
