1.0 PRIMARY FUNCTION:
To ensure that the inventory process is followed and accurate and timely recording of inventory movements, ensuring that accurate inventory records are maintained.
2.0 DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure computerized inventory records are maintained up to date for all issues, receipts, transfers and internal consumptions.
- Entering of all data to the stock system such as GRN's and internal consumptions.
- Preparation of all inventory related documents such as shipping tickets.
- Monitor incoming shipments and forecast jobs to ensure that records are updated on time.
- Plan, participate and manage inventory cycle counts and annual stock take.
- On receipt of goods ensure accuracy and identification of overages, shortages and damaged items.
- Provide inventory reports for stock management.
- Participate in quality investigations as required.
- Perform any other duty as assigned by manager.
3.0 Education/Experience
- Requires general standard education.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Proficient numeracy and Microsoft Excel skills are essential.
Other Skills and Abilities

Ability to work under a minimum of supervision in fast-paced office environment.

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Knowledge of Exact Max and Synergy system or similar would be beneficial but not essential.

Familiarity with computer networks and email.
