Job Description:
Scope:
- Supports day-to-day Data Centre activities: escorts field engineers, parts shipping/receiving management, etc.
- Engage with Dell/Partner Support for break/fix activities:
- Customer notifies resident of server issue. Resident opens SR, works with support to resolve issue. Captures logs, follows recommended troubleshooting from support, escorts any dispatched field engineer, etc.
- Performs firmware, code, BIOS lifecycle management. Works at the direction of the customer team to update versions as needed.
- Maintains documentation of the environment: serial numbers, elevations, runbooks, etc.
- Coordinates with Colo staff for any maintenance activities: power maintenance, cooling maintenance, containment wall maintenance, etc.
