We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Senior Underwriter to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for assessing and mitigating potential risks to the company, conducting credit reviews, and evaluating financial documents. If you have a strong background in risk assessment, valuation, credit review, financial document review, and business bank, this role is an exciting opportunity to take your career to the next level.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct thorough risk assessments and valuations to ensure the company is adequately protected against potential threats.
2. Perform credit reviews to assess the creditworthiness of potential clients, including analyzing their financial status, credit, and property evaluations to determine feasibility of granting loans.
3. Review and analyze financial documents such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
4. Work closely with the business bank to manage and mitigate financial risks.
5. Provide recommendations to management on potential risks and strategies to mitigate them.
6. Collaborate with the sales team to ensure a smooth underwriting process and to resolve any issues that may arise.
7. Stay updated on industry trends, changes in regulations, and new underwriting practices to ensure the company's processes are up-to-date.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in underwriting, risk assessment, valuation, credit review, financial document review, or a similar role in the finance industry.
3. Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex financial data and make informed decisions.
4. Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
5. Strong knowledge of financial regulations and underwriting practices.
6. Proficiency in using financial software and platforms.
7. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
