Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Senior Drainage Engineer to join a dynamic and highly technical Transportation design team in Tampa, Florida. As a Senior Drainage Engineer, you will be working with a multi-disciplinary design team to deliver projects for Florida cities, counties, and the Florida Department of Transportation. Projects include the hydraulic analysis and drainage design for complex interstate highways, urban and rural roadways, interchanges, design-builds, detention/retention ponds, and permitting. This is a hybrid work option position.
Responsibilities:
Senior technical resource. Serves as technical advisor
Task/Design Lead for transportation design projects
Provides drainage technical input to studies and design
Develops study and design procedures to facilitate high-quality cost-effective work by other
Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables
Performs quality control review of design calculations and drawings.
Prepares project drainage design specifications
Interact and coordinate with clients, design team partners and sub-consultants, as needed for project tasks
The ability to make decisions independently related to engineering design and methodology
