Join our dynamic team as a Senior Technical Sales and Business Development Manager in North America. You'll be at the forefront of advancing optics technologies, making a significant impact by driving business development and promoting cutting-edge solutions. This full-time position, reporting to the VP of North America Business Development & Corporate Marketing and is in Silicon Valley, CA. It offers a wide scope of technical sales and account management responsibilities, with ample opportunities for career growth aligned with North America business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Promote and demonstrate the company products advanced capabilities that utilize latest autofocus camera applications
- Use cases to target OEM customers and imaging ecosystem partners.
- Drive business development and sales activities leading to and achieving design-in/win and revenue goals at assigned OEM customers and partners in America.
- Manage assigned OEM customer and partner accounts and report business
- Provide technical sales support to customer camera module projects.
- Research target market segments to identify, engage and qualify customer prospects for
Required Skillset:
- 10+ years of experience in optics or imaging fields and in technical sales, account management and/or business
- Domain expertise in imaging and optics not sensing but the imaging/ camera (contact camera) and these optical systems/ lenses, camera modules. Consumer grade, compact, indoor industrial - contact cameras/ systems.
- Prior experience in supporting North American market and OEM customers/partners.
- Minimum BSc in Computer Science, Electrical or Electronics
- MS Office tools.
- Willingness to travel throughout North America and as necessary,
- Good customer support and multi-tasked project management
Bonus Skillset:
- Proven track records of driving new design ins/wins and sales at American OEM customers and ecosystem partners.
- Knowledgeable and/or well-connected in our key focus market segments (AR/MR, consumer, industrial).
- Demonstrated passion and good familiarity with imaging/camera systems or optics technologies and ecosystem (imaging SoC platform players, lens makers, camera module integrators, CMOS image sensor players, ).
- Previous experience as a Field Sale Engineer (FSE), Technical Sales or Business Development Manager in imaging or optics fields
- Previous experience working remotely.
Location: South Bay Area
Travel: Willingness to travel throughout North America and as necessary, internationally.
Salary: $130-150K+ DOE and includes bonus plan
