Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all tax operations, including tax planning, compliance, and tax risk management.
2. Develop and implement strategic tax planning for all necessary federal and state taxes.
3. Manage and mentor members of the tax team to increase performance and productivity.
4. Review the corporation's annual income tax, estimated payments, and other tax returns.
5. Maintain tax balances on general ledger.
6.Plan the timing and assigning of staff to engagements.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master's degree in Taxation is a plus.
2. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is high preferred.
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a tax manager or public accountant role.
4. Strong knowledge of tax code, compliance and procedures for corporations.
5. Familiarity with U.S. federal, state, and local reporting requirements.
