As the Tax Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing tax accounting activities, ensuring compliance with regulations, and spearheading initiatives to optimize tax savings and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee the tax accounting activities, including income taxes, for our esteemed technology client.

Prepare and report quarterly K1 liability to partners, while facilitating distributions for approval.

Drive the preparation of tax returns, payments, and necessary paperwork, alongside insightful reports to guide strategic decision-making.

Tackle complex tax issues head-on through thorough assessment and innovative problem-solving.

Recommend and implement strategies to maximize tax savings and enhance overall profitability.

Navigate through domestic and international tax intricacies with confidence and expertise.

Ensure seamless compliance with regulations by proactively liaising with federal, state, and local authorities.

Provide invaluable support and guidance during audits, ensuring a smooth and successful process.

Champion a culture of continuous improvement by evaluating tax regulations and suggesting policies to minimize tax burdens.

Stay ahead of industry trends and changes, keeping our client informed and prepared for future challenges.

Deliver accurate quarterly and annual tax reports, maintaining precision and reliability at all times.

Coordinate the annual independent audit and the preparation of all necessary tax documents.

Uphold compliance with statutory payroll and property tax reporting requirements.

Actively contribute to special projects as assigned, bringing your expertise and innovation to the table.

A proven track record of leadership and excellence in tax management.

A Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or equivalent qualification; a Master's degree is preferred.

Certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA).

Minimum of four years' experience in tax accounting, preferably within the technology sector.

Deep knowledge of corporate taxation and hands-on experience in managing International Tax matters.

Exceptional proficiency in finance, accounting, budgeting, cost control principles, and GAAP.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret economic conditions and anticipate organizational impact.

Proficiency in major ERP systems, with expertise in Sage Intacct considered a plus.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
